The decoration of the hotel was charming and inviting, with a lovely country cottage atmosphere. The general areas were spacious and easy to navigate, perfect for senior people like me. I appreciated how accessible everything was, from the comfortable seating to the well-equipped kitchen. It made me feel right at home.
I would have liked to see more assistance from the children working there in terms of providing information on local attractions and activities suitable for senior people.

I absolutely loved the cozy and rustic decor of the Dartmoor Barn. The furniture was comfortable and inviting, and the wood fire in the evenings added a special touch. Being a senior, I appreciated how accessible the hotel was. The pathways were well-maintained and easy to navigate, allowing me to explore the beautiful moors and enjoy the breathtaking views without any trouble.
I would have preferred if the children working there had provided some assistance or guidance specifically tailored for senior guests.

Perched on the slopes of North Hessary Tor, this exquisite escape from the world offers more than just a picturesque view. With its open plan living area and a lounge complete with a wood burner and smart TV, it felt like having my own personal cinema.
High chairs made dining a bit challenging.

The location of the property was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the moors and nearby tors. Being able to step outside and immediately be surrounded by nature was a highlight. the well-equipped kitchen and comfortable furniture made our stay even more enjoyable. having a wood fire in the evenings added a cozy touch to our experience.
One thing to consider is that the area can become quite foggy at night, especially in October. This made driving on the long, rural roads a bit dangerous for someone not accustomed to foggy conditions.
